the basics

what exactly is a scent booster?

it's a little hit of fine fragrance you add to the wash alongside your detergent. your detergent cleans; the booster is pure scent — layered in so your laundry smells like something you'd actually want to wear, not like laundry aisle. each one comes in a tube you pour from, so there's nothing to unwrap or fuss over. meet the five scents.

does it work with any detergent?

yes. add it to the wash with whatever detergent you already use — liquid, powder, pods, any brand. it doesn't replace your detergent, it just makes the whole load smell better. keep your routine exactly as-is and drop a scoop in.

is ScentDay vegan and cruelty-free?

yes to both — every scent, every product. never tested on animals, no animal-derived ingredients. our fragrances are made with plant-derived materials where possible.

using it

how do I use it? do I measure beads?

no beads to measure. pour a scoop straight from the tube into the drum before you add clothes, then wash like normal — cold, warm, or hot. that's the whole method. more scent = a bigger pour; lighter day = a smaller one. you're in charge of how loud it gets.

how long does the scent last?

the point of a booster is staying power — it's built to carry from the wash, through the dry, and into the drawer, so clean clothes still smell fresh weeks later when you go to wear them. how long exactly depends on the scent, your dose, and your fabrics, but still-there-when-you-open-the-closet is the whole idea.

is it safe for HE washers?

yes — it works in both high-efficiency (HE) and standard machines. add it to the drum before your clothes, same as you would any in-wash product. no special cycle needed.

is it safe for my fabrics and whites?

it's an in-wash fragrance boost — it adds scent, not dye or bleach, so it won't color your whites or change how your detergent cleans. for delicates or anything with special care instructions, follow the garment label and start with a smaller pour. when in doubt, test on a normal load first.

is it septic- or greywater-safe?

honest answer: a scent booster is a fragrance product, so if you're on a septic system or reuse greywater, treat it the way you'd treat any scented laundry product — use a modest amount and don't overdose the load. we don't market it as a greywater or septic treatment, and we'd rather tell you that plainly than overpromise. questions about your setup? ask us and we'll be straight with you.

shipping & returns

how much is shipping and when will it arrive?

shipping is free on US orders over $35; below that a flat rate is added at checkout. orders ship on business days and you'll get a tracking email the moment yours is on its way. delivery timing depends on your address and the carrier — the tracking link is always your source of truth.

what's your return policy?

reach out within 30 days of delivery and we'll make it right. because these are scented personal-care products, we can only accept returns on items that are unopened and unused — opened product can't be resold for hygiene reasons. something arrived damaged or wrong? that's on us — message the team with your order number and we'll sort it fast. full details in our refund policy.
